Disinfection of Water Systems
A range of disinfection techniques to suit the water system to be treated are provided:
Sodium Hypochlorite - Chlorine disinfections are undertaken as per the specifications detailed within the ACOP and Guidance L8 and BS6700.
Chlorine Dioxide can be utilised in a variety of different applications. It shows various benefits over the use of chlorine as it penetrates
biofilms and is unaffected by pH. Applications include low level continuous dosing, one off system disinfections and spray disinfection.
Silver stabilised Hydrogen peroxide solution is a newly introduced means of disinfection, enabling a safe and effective means of disinfection without interruption to services.
Other disinfection techniques offered include copper & silver ion generation plant and bromination.

Water Sampling
A range of sampling techniques can be utilized:
UKAS accredited laboratories
ATP rapid bio-assay testing (providing an instantaneous indication of microbial water quality)
