Following a full site survey 3C are able to provide a fully comprehensive water treatment programme in accordance with BS2486; 1997 (Recommendations for Treatment of water for Steam Boilers & Water Heaters). This may include all of, or a selection of the following services:
Supply of chemicals – oxygen scavengers, scale inhibitors, sludge dispersants, anti foaming agents & condensate corrosion control additives.
Supply and service of pre treatment plant – de-mineralisation, water softeners, and reverse osmosis plant.
The provision and maintenance of Plant and Equipment – Automatic blowdown control, dosing pumps and controllers, and on site test kits.

The above services are complemented by our service support team, which includes the provision of site service visits to analyse and report on system water quality, the frequency of which can be determined by the needs of the system being treated and customer requirements.

Closed Circuits:
Closed circuits cover a wide variety of systems ranging from simple domestic heating circuits to industrial/commercial sized heating and chilled water systems. Water system quality needs to be maintained to ensure optimum plant life and system condition.

3C are able to provide a comprehensive range of solutions and services including:

Pre commission cleaning and renovation cleaning
Pre treatment plant: de-mineralisation and reverse osmosis plant
Dosing equipment including dosing pots and pumps
Side stream filtration units: bag filtration / centrifugal separators
Chemical inhibitors – corrosion control agents including specific products for protection of aluminium, scale and sludge control agents & biocides including specific products for pseudonomad control

Service visits by qualified engineers are provided to analyse and report on system water quality, the frequency of which can be determined by the needs of the system being treated and customer requirements.

Miscellaneous Systems

A variety of water systems require treatment and maintenance packages to ensure effective management control. Bespoke treatment packages can be devised by 3C to ensure safe and effective operation of such systems.

Although not an exhaustive list, examples are detailed below which go some way to highlighting the variation in the scope of systems requiring treatment:

Whirlpools, spas and hot tubs – these have been implicated in a number of legionella related deaths and the HSE have issued specific guidance notes on their safe operation and maintenance
